On Monday July 18th Antonio Calvia and Michele Epifani will participate in the conference”Poesia e Musica fra Trecento e Quattrocento. Itinerari tra filologia e musicologia” (Certaldo, 18-20 July 2022), organised by the Centro di studi sull’Ars Nova del Trecento “Marcello Masini” of Certaldo. During the session entitled “I versi e la melodia. Problemi di metodo e notazione”, Antonio Calvia will discuss the musical vocabulary used by Dante in his Commedia, while Michele Epifani will talk about musical metre and versification in Landini’s ballatas.
