On Friday, December 18th 2020 at 5.30 pm (UTC+1), the Ente Nazionale Giovanni Boccaccio and the Centro Studi sull’Ars Nova del Trecento “Marcello Masini” of Certaldo will host the presentation of the volume “The End of the Ars Nova in Italy. The San Lorenzo Palimpsest and Related Repertories”, edited by Antonio Calvia, Stefano Campagnolo, Andreas Janke, Maria Sofia Lannutti and John Nádas. Karen Desmond (Brandeis University), David Fallows (Emeritus – Manchester University) and Reinhard Strohm (Emeritus – Oxford University) will participate as speakers. The discussion will be introduced by Agostino Ziino (Emeritus – Università di Roma Tor Vergata) and moderated by Lucia De Marchi (De Paul University); conclusions and final greetings will be entrusted to Rino Caputo (Centro Studi sull’Ars nova italiana del Trecento).
